The Mitsubishi 9900B is a true on-line double conversion UPS system ideally suited for mission critical applications around the world. In the past, UPS units of its kind have offered a lower risk of load loss, yet been burdened by low efficiencies compared to standby UPS systems.
It combines the lower risk of load loss associated with a typical UPS unit of its kind with increased efficiencies and performance. Many of these efficiencies are the product of using Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBT), which provide for high speed switching, large power capabilities, and low switching loss. Load efficiency as high as 93% can be seen even at 10% loads. The total cost of ownership for the Mitsubishi 9900B UPS, and its power usage effectiveness, are superior to conventional UPS units.
