MCG Leaders Give Back at The Idaho Foodbank

The Mission Critical Group Power Generation Systems Senior Leadership Team recently stepped away from its day-to-day work to volunteer at The Idaho Foodbank and support local families.

Working side by side, the team bagged about 7,500 pounds of pears, filling more than 15 pallet boxes with fresh produce to distribute to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity throughout Idaho.

The event provided a rewarding opportunity to serve the community while strengthening connections across the leadership team.

The team’s commitment to helping did not end with the volunteer shift. During dinner, a casual conversation evolved into an energetic discussion about potential safety improvements, workflow efficiencies, ergonomics, and process enhancements that could make similar projects even safer and more effective.

The conversation “pear-fectly” reflected the MCG culture. Whether working in one of our facilities, supporting a customer, or serving our communities, our people bring the same dedication to service, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

MCG takes pride in making a positive difference in the communities where our employees live and work. Volunteer events like this give our teams a chance to put that value into action, strengthen our communities, and show what MCG stands for.
